Yours, in the Storm
Dear Reader, There is a song we used to sing in my High School choir that goes as follows: "Master the tempest is raging The billows are tossing high" Unfortunately i can't remember most of the words to the song but i do remember that the song was written by a man who had a chronic illness and that it is based off of the bible scripture Mark 4:35-39.That part where the disciples of Jesus wake him up because there is a storm happening and he calms the storm. I also remember that the chorus of the song went like this: "Peace, Be Still". This is a direct quotation of Jesus' words to quell the storm. The reason why i am telling you about this song that i can barely remember is that i really haven't been able to shake off the message of the song.
