Yours in Vulnerability,

Dear Reader, I haven't done one of these in a while. How have you been? And the people you love? Do they know that you love them? I once wrote a short Facebook post about how i suspect that there is a community living within us, is your community at peace? I do not mean to trigger you but as i grow, i am figuring out just how important these things are, love and peace and community. Speaking of community, i actually would like to talk about the community outside, if you don't mind. So i have a very good friend in my life who has just been a blessing in ways i cannot begin to mention. What have they done that could possibly warrant getting such a compliment you ask? This friend of mine planted a seed in me, of truth and freedom that can be found in vulnerability . "This song tackles the concept of the essence of life, opportunity and seizing the moment, it is a motivational song which seeks to ignite a fire within ones inner self to exist and make the most of the chances we get and allow ourselves to exist in the now and for the future." -Lynde n The first thing that stuck out to me about this upbeat song was the honesty in the statement "I wanna live. You wanna live". It seems such an obvious thing so why should the artist have gone to all that trouble to say it out loud. Well, for starters because we arent...living, at least not in the way we want. The song expresses life in all the ways we are afraid to do nowadays. Through with ambitious declarations like "going on a tour", a show with "J Cole" ....etc this song triggers the listener to dig deep into their wild imagination and......so to speak, "live the life that is seducing your lungs".
